Chase Zebari of Canton recognized at University of Detroit Mercy's Honors Convocation

Chase Zebari of Canton, a nursing student at University of Detroit Mercy's College of Health Professions, received the Dean's Scholar Award at the University's Honors Convocation for academic excellence and service. The College of Health Professions, in the Mercy and Jesuit traditions, prepares professionals to lead individuals, families, and communities to optimal health and well-being.

The Honors Program strives to integrate the intellectual, spiritual, ethical, and social development of its members by fostering a community of scholarly excellence, encouraging exploration of the larger world beyond the classroom, and promoting compassionate service to society at large and to persons in need. Students graduating from The Honors Program may graduate as Presidential Scholars, Honors Scholars Cum Laude, or Honors Scholars.
