Mattia Melone Awarded Leadership Pin and Medallion from the University of Detroit Mercy

Mattia Melone, of Macomb, MI has been awarded the Leadership Pin and Medallion by the University of Detroit Mercy. Melone is pursuing a degree in Architecture.

Melone earned the Leadership Pin and Medallion through ongoing involvement in student organizations, spirituality retreats, completed leadership coursework, and at least 250 hours of community service.

UDM is one of 28 Jesuit colleges and universities and the largest of 18 Mercy institutions of higher education in the United States. For the 12th consecutive year, University of Detroit Mercy is listed in the top tier of Midwestern Regional Universities in the 2012 edition of the U.S.News and World Report's "America's Best Colleges."
